'
Julie part 3'  100cm x 73cm  Acrylique on canvas
This is the 3rd painting in this series
This painting explores the ever beautiful curves and shapes of the female nude, her felinity
and mystery whilst show youa little of how I see the world due to my impaired vision,
The blues shine out to me and light and dark create lines and form that aren't there, confusing
reality.  I hope you enjoy her as much as I enjoyed painting her.

the first in a series of

As you can see I experimented with
painting different parts
of this composition

on the entire body.
I loved painting this,
it made me feel very calm and I feel very calm
when I look at her now.
Maybe it's becuase I'm calmed
in gerneral by water ;-)
I can't wait to get started on my next one.
So this is
'Untitled'

Two Thirds Water

36

This is a sneaky peak at a little section of my new painting (so you can see the pallette I'm working with), it's part of a new collection called
'Two Thirds Water'.
I'm complety submerged in this collection, like never before and can't wait to share them all.

The painting above is another peak at my new painting. It's a section of her, the final piece to be revealed soon. This has been really interesting to do, as I think the sections of paintings could work in their own right, and may well lead to an entirely new collection.

My Painting 'Karine'

35

So may I present a painting produced from an art session with my artists group called the 'Cercle du Marais'.  We meet a couple of times a month and hire a model together.  This is Karine

Acrylic on canvas 73cm x 100cm

She will part of a collection of female nude paintings I intend to exhibit, all with the same limited pallet

Voila. I'm not sure where my exhibition will be yet. Maybe in the UK? Maybe France? or both. I'm starting to look for a venue, but it won't be until next year. Still if anyone knows a great venue please do comment. Cheers
Abi Jameson xx

My latest painting

This painting is called
'In the Moment part 2'

She was exhibited and sold in France along with a whole collection (see invite below).
I don't like to say too much about a painting as it takes away from how the viewer sees it and influences them, instead of letting them enjoy it for themselves.

Invite to Exhibition

This was an invite to our exhibition the 2nd - 5th June 2011.
It was open to all for a few days!
The exhibition show'd all of our work done or started from our Friday mornings.
To explain, every Friday, me and some other lovely artists get to gether and hire a model for the morning. They pose nude, an invaluble weekly study I cannot do without!!
Everyone's styles are very different as you can imagine, so watch this space to see how it all went, or come along (if you are near Labenne SW France by some fluke chance). I'm off now to finish work for the show! I know I should have finished everything by now, but hey!!
